Introduction: The research was based on the design and implementation of technical and pedagogical digital strategies to strengthen active and autonomous learning in second-year high school students. It followed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (pretest–posttest with a non-equivalent control group), applied at the Antonio José de Sucre Educational Unit (Yaguachi, Ecuador). The sample included 62 students and 6 teachers. Instruments such as standardized tests, questionnaires, and teacher observation diaries were applied. The results showed that the experimental group showed significant improvements in academic performance, student participation, and learning engagement compared to the control group. The most effective strategies were microlearning, gamification, asynchronous collaborative forums, and flipped classrooms with digital rubrics. It is concluded that well-designed digital strategies generate relevant pedagogical transformations when integrated with solid methodological foundations. Furthermore, they promote meaningful learning, skill development, and positive changes in teaching practice.
