Based learning in projects (ABP) and formation of professional competitions in the agricultural engineer

Introduction: The results of research carried out at the University of Guayaquil, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, to enhance the training of professional skills in agronomy engineers are presented, As a result of which a project-based learning strategy was designed; The development of training was based on the identification of inadequacies in the training process which limit the ability of graduates to find creative and innovative solutions to problems in the profession. The development of this study used theoretical and empirical methods, including analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, interviews, surveys and document analysis; triangulation of methods and sources was carried out. The feasibility of the strategy developed was confirmed by a socialization workshop, which confirmed the effectiveness of PBL for the training of professional skills in this professional.
