Computerization-communication actions of the educational process in the university student residence

Introduction: The study addresses an epistemological characterization of the object and field of action, from fundamental epistemic-methodological referents. The objective is focused on designing actions for the computerization-communication of the educational process in the university student residence. Materials and methods: Based on the use of theoretical, empirical and statistical-mathematical methods, the wide availability of personal mobile devices is identified as a strength, which makes it easier for students to stay connected and access various digital resources. Results: The proposal of actions aimed at the computerization-communication of the educational process in the university student residence is articulated in three main groups: actions for the computerization-communication of resident students; actions focused on artificial intelligence and social welfare; actions to promote socialization and cultural, sports-recreational development. Discussion: The theoretical references related to the object and field of research have an empirical character at present, since in general, it has been treated from the teaching process being little treated from the educational field, hence, the need to venture into the subject related to information - communication in the student residence of the University of Oriente. Conclusions: The evaluation of the specialists confirms the viability and relevance of the proposed actions, highlighting their capacity to transform the educational process in the university student residence.
