Achieving quality education for all is one of the objectives of the 2030 Agenda that Cuban higher education takes into account since the triumph of the Revolution; the fulfillment of this objective in the process of training professionals requires preparing them so that they can learn throughout their lives; this makes necessary a teaching-learning process in which the teacher's direction promotes the self-management of learning, from a professional approach to the process. The present article approaches this subject from the experience in the teaching of the subject Marxist Leninist Philosophy I in the career Degree in education, specialty Marxism Leninism and History.
