Approach to the life and pedagogical projection of María de los Ángeles Mercaderes Ferrer between 1938 and 1958

In the present article, the historical, social and pedagogical conditions in which they developed their relevant educators of the XX century in Cuba are exposed, particularized these in the figure of a prominent educator from Santiago: Maria de los Angeles Mercaderes Ferrer, locating the performance of the same in the historical context between 1938 and 1958 and who, from its consequent action in this convulsive stage of our homeland history: the Neocolony, became a paradigm to be followed by the present and future generations of educators who, when studying their work they will be equipped with powerful tools that will favor the conditioning of their historical-pedagogical memory and the resizing of their professional role and identity.
