Empreendedores de Cuba e Peru: um modelo de negócio baseado na incubação empresarial com inovação tecnológica

Resumo

Introdução: A limitada inovação tecnológica enfraquece a incubação empresarial e a competitividade dos empreendedores cubanos e peruanos. O objetivo deste estudo foi descrever a experiência de empreendedores de Cuba e do Peru por meio de seus modelos de negócios no contexto da incubação empresarial com inovação tecnológica. Materiais e Métodos: A amostra foi composta por 58 empreendedores (27 cubanos e 31 peruanos), selecionados por amostragem não probabilística por conveniência. Foi aplicado um questionário com escala Likert, cuja confiabilidade apresentou elevada consistência interna (α = 0,94). Os participantes foram classificados em cinco dimensões: motivação, tipo de negócio, enfoque de inovação, nível de risco e estágio do empreendimento. Resultados: A escala Likert apresentou média de 2,86, evidenciando uma relação intermediária entre incubação empresarial e inovação tecnológica. Em Cuba, predominaram os empreendedores por necessidade (92,59%), enquanto no Peru observou-se uma distribuição mais equilibrada entre o empreendedorismo por necessidade e por oportunidade. O empreendedorismo social apresentou maior representatividade em Cuba (74,07%) do que no Peru (54,84%), embora este último tenha demonstrado maior diversidade de atividades econômicas. Em ambos os países prevaleceram os empreendedores imitadores (Cuba: 88,89%; Peru: 87,09%) e com tolerância moderada ao risco (Cuba: 92,59%; Peru: 90,32%). Além disso, em Cuba predominaram os empreendimentos emergentes (85,18%), enquanto no Peru foram mais frequentes os empreendimentos estabelecidos (70,96%). Discussão: A inovação tecnológica exerceu influência limitada sobre os modelos de negócios analisados, enquanto a incubação empresarial desempenhou um papel secundário em seu desenvolvimento. Conclusões: O contexto socioeconômico condicionou o empreendedorismo e a incorporação da inovação tecnológica aos modelos de negócios de ambos os países.
