Educational strategy to negotiate the harmonic coexistence in the Basic General Education: focus from the work collaborative

Abstract

Introduction: The problem of school coexistence is considered of great importance by teachers, researchers and educational authorities given its impact on learning, the achievement of training objectives and education for social life; this argues for the attention given to it in research and in pedagogical practice, however there are indicators of deficiencies in coexistence in schools such as school violence that require continuing to address this problem. In the Padre Alberto Ferri Basic Education Institution, behaviors incongruent with harmonious coexistence have been identified, which motivated the research presented here; developed with 6th grade students from the formulation of the scientific problem How to manage school coexistence of the students of the Padre Alberto Ferri Basic Education School? and the objective was to design an educational strategy to manage school coexistence from a collaborative work approach. Materials and methods: Different methods and techniques were used for the development of the research, within the theoretical methods, analysis and synthesis, and induction and deduction were used to process the information contained in scientific articles on the subject selected through a Google Scholar search for articles published between 2018 and 2023; These methods were also used to process the diagnostic data and prepare the final research report and this article. Results: At the Padre Alberto Ferri Basic Education School there are behaviors that point to inadequacies in school coexistence and the need to address this process from management, based on the participation of the educational community and the use of the potential of educational work. This motivated the development of the to manage school coexistence from a collaborative work approach, as a result of the research. Discussion: The problem of school coexistence, despite being widely discussed in educational research and professional pedagogical practice, needs to be the subject of new studies, given the diversity and complexity of its manifestations and causes; This reason advises its treatment with the participation of the entire educational community, especially with the strengthening of the links between school and family. Conclusions: The development of a socialization workshop and the partial application of the strategy allowed a preliminary verification of the feasibility of its implementation; however, its enrichment and improvement and its instrumentation are recommended to arrive at more precise conclusions about its feasibility.
