Abstract

Guidance is an essential need of the human being, which is why it is of vital importance to make assessments of educational guidance, having as a priority the formation of professional skills, attitudes, convictions and high human values. The purpose of the research was to establish an educational orientation strategy for the promotion of health in students of the Medicine career of the Faculty No.2 of Santiago de Cuba, which helps to promote, develop and foster knowledge about the care of health and its modes of action in different contexts. In a first phase, the research allows to systematize the theoretical foundations that support the process of educational orientation for health promotion and, in a second phase, the proposal of an educational orientation strategy is elaborated. Theoretical and empirical level methods were used, enabling triangulation between them, as well as the mathematical statistical method.
