Role and relevance in universities of Ecuador in the activity of link with society

The objective of this research is to evaluate the level of contribution of the linking activity in the performance of the university community. The descriptive method allowed for a study of existing premises and businesses in the environment, as well as measuring the parameters that define the image of them. The analyst gave way to a study at the service level, as well as measuring elements of the commercial image through marketing tools. The scientific reading contributed significantly to the realization of an analysis referring to the activity of linking. Statistical software SPSS 21.00 was used for statistical analysis and REDATAM to define a study of the business environment. As a relevant result, it is obtained that in 2016 there is a growth of the businesses with respect to the year 2015, where the most representative turned out to be the businesses that provide retail services, these are mostly neighborhood stores.
