Abstract

The objective of the investigation resides in to fix in the mind some ideas about the evolution of the local Geography, beginning from the development of the periodization, that allows us to value in each one, the phases, the conception the permanent formation of the professor of Geography in the current Junior High School, the projection of the methodological work in function of your permanent formation and the treatment of the contents of the local Geography and its influence in the teaching of Geography, as a via for the improvement of their professional discharge, as an answer to the needs of the professors in correspondence with the technological scientific advance that is produced at the present time. The study of the tendency is systematized to taking as starting-point the different moments of improvement in the National System of Education beginning from revolutionary triumph.
