Abstract

In the formation and development of children, adolescent and young’s personality reading as social activity plays a motivating role, since through them the individual begins to have active, creative, reflective, creating and independent performance, each time more protagonist they understand other’s thought and their own thought as well, since they achieve their own ideas with clearness by means of the oral or written text. That is why, the need of training spontaneous assiduous readers since the implication of all the educative, socio-communitarian, and cultural institutions, particularly in the school library, throughout the  actions of promotion of reading with a developing, personal interdisciplinary and technological character of the primary school children’s formation. Thus, in this piece of work there are offered some psycho pedagogical presupposes of the formation of readers in the primary schools, that serves as rule since the labor of the school library.
