Abstract

The process of training of mid-level technician in librarianship and documentary techniques has undergone transformations of essence in its curriculum design through the review and updating of plans and programs of study and professional model. This article describes the features of the historical evolution of this process is addressed and sets the indicators, milestones and stages. It aims to reveal the main regularities of that process. Research methods of theoretical and empirical level, including those highlighted were used: the historical and logical, analysis and synthesis, induction, deduction, observation, survey and interview.
