Emprendedores de Cuba y Perú: modelo de negocio desde la incubación empresarial con innovación tecnológica

Resumen

Introducción: la limitada innovación tecnológica debilita incubación empresarial y competitividad de los emprendedores cubanos y peruanos. El objetivo del estudio fue describir la experiencia en emprendedores de Cuba y Perú mediante su modelo de negocio desde la incubación empresarial con innovación tecnológica. Materiales y métodos: La muestra estuvo integrada por 58 emprendedores (27 cubanos y 31 peruanos), seleccionados mediante muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Se aplicó una encuesta con escala Likert, cuya confiabilidad fue alta (α=0,94). Los participantes fueron clasificados en cinco dimensiones: motivación, tipo de negocio, enfoque de innovación, nivel de riesgo y etapa del emprendimiento. Resultados: La escala Likert promedió 2,86, evidenciando relación intermedia entre incubación empresarial e innovación tecnológica. En Cuba predominaron los emprendedores por necesidad (92,59%), mientras que en Perú se observó una distribución más equilibrada entre emprendimiento por necesidad y por oportunidad. El emprendimiento social tuvo mayor representación en Cuba (74,07%) que en Perú (54,84%), aunque este último mostró una mayor diversidad de actividades económicas. En ambos países prevalecieron los emprendedores imitadores (Cuba: 88,89%; Perú: 87,09%) y con tolerancia moderada al riesgo (Cuba: 92,59%; Perú: 90,32%). Además, en Cuba predominaron los emprendedores emergentes (85,18%), mientras que en Perú fueron más frecuentes los emprendimientos establecidos (70,96%). Discusión: La innovación tecnológica mostró una influencia limitada en los modelos de negocio analizados y la incubación empresarial desempeñó un papel secundario en su desarrollo. Conclusiones: El contexto socioeconómico condicionó el emprendimiento y la incorporación de innovación tecnológica en los modelos de negocio de ambos países.
