Introduction: Education is a fundamental pillar in building just and equitable societies, and teachers are key agents of social transformation through their professional performance. This research aims to develop educational actions that characterize the teacher's role as a transformative agent in society. Materials and methods: Methods were employed at the theoretical level: analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction; and at the empirical level: observation, surveys, interviews, among others. Results: This research offers educational actions and contributions aimed at characterizing and promoting the teacher's role as a transformative agent in society. These contributions demonstrate transformations achieved by educators, including: a socio-educational-formative approach, the application of innovative teaching methods, and the participation of influential socio-educational agents in the formation of the new generation. Discussion: The assessments conducted reveal that teachers possess political, cultural, and social commitment, promoting civic values in society, as well as the inclusion and active participation of all citizens in life projects for a developing society, influencing formal education, training, and the social development of students. The population consists of 13 teachers from the "Raúl Rojas Mendoza" Pre-University Educational Institution, with 100% of the subjects selected as the sample. Conclusions: Educators are a prime example of inspiration for socially transforming students, playing a crucial role in their formation as critical and responsible citizens. Their role is inherently transformative, as they are key actors in building a more just, inclusive, and equitable society.
