Educação ambiental para o uso responsável de águas residuárias de lagoas de oxidação em solos agrícolas semidesérticos

Introdução: A reutilização agrícola de águas residuais requer conhecimento ambiental contextualizado para prevenir riscos em ambientes semidesérticos. Objetivo: Analisar a humanização do conhecimento ambiental transferido para a prevenção de riscos nas atividades agrícolas locais do distrito de Santiago, Ica, Peru. Materiais e métodos: Foi realizado um estudo quantitativo, aplicado, descritivo, não experimental e transversal, entre janeiro e junho de 2026. Foram avaliadas amostras do afluente e de dois efluentes de uma lagoa de oxidação, bem como três solos agrícolas irrigados com esses efluentes. Foram determinados parâmetros físico-químicos e microbiológicos da água residual e características físico-químicas do solo. Os dados foram processados por meio de estatística descritiva e comparados com valores de referência normativos e técnicos. Resultados: A DBO5,20 diminuiu 66,2% entre o afluente e o primeiro efluente, enquanto a DQO foi reduzida em 55,4%; contudo, ambos os indicadores permaneceram acima dos respectivos valores de referência. O nitrogênio total diminuiu 51,1% e o fósforo total 48,5%. Os coliformes fecais diminuíram inicialmente, mas posteriormente retornaram ao nível observado no afluente, enquanto os coliformes totais aumentaram acentuadamente no primeiro efluente. Nos solos, a condutividade elétrica indicou salinidade moderada, enquanto o nitrogênio total e a matéria orgânica apresentaram valores muito baixos, com predominância de areia. Discussão: Os resultados evidenciaram que a redução dos parâmetros físico-químicos não implicou uma resposta microbiológica equivalente, confirmando a necessidade de interpretar integralmente a qualidade do efluente e do solo. Conclusões: A humanização do conhecimento ambiental concretizou-se mediante a transformação de evidências analíticas em orientações preventivas pertinentes às condições agrícolas locais.
