Introduction: The objective of this study was to design a family support program aimed at fostering respect as a value in third-year elementary school students. Materials and methods: The methodology used was a mixed approach, with a non-experimental and descriptive design. Results: The results of student observations revealed that, although there is a tendency to practice respect, its application is not consistent. 53.3% of students partially comply with classroom rules, and 50% use respectful language and manage conflicts appropriately, although the practice of respect varies. Parents' responses indicate a strong promotion of values such as respect and human dignity at home, reflected in a harmonious school environment. Discussion: The proposed strategies integrated home and school, promoting reflection, habits, and communication for harmonious coexistence and socio-emotional development. Conclusions: In conclusion, the need to strengthen family-school collaboration is highlighted to consolidate the development of respect, ensuring its consistent practice both individually and in group dynamics, fostering a positive school environment.
