Abstract

A panorama of the investigations made in Santiago de Cuba on the Technical Professional Education, allows us to mean that there have been provided technical theoretical contributions related to the integral training of the students of the technical specialties, or from the pedagogical careers of this profile, there have also provide contributions on the development of abilities, competence and motivation in this area, on the permanent teachers´ training, the curricular design, the school management and the evaluation of quality among others aspects. However, it is considered insufficient the knowledge of history, and that is aim of this article from the scientific point of view, throughout a diagnosis of this teaching in the territory of Santiago de Cuba before 1959, what reveals inconsistencies in the Cuban Pedagogic history and limits the informative possibilities since the knowledge of this evaluative process.
