Abstract

This piece of work describes the aesthetic values and principles that a school librarian should possess for the performance of his/her actions, as well as the necessary competences for offering an information service of excellence, so that the scientific informational activity could be inserted within the teaching learning process and the quality of education may be guaranteed in the new contexts. Also, In this way the aesthetic problems and the librarian’s  aesthetic moral sense professionalism are valued ;in few words knowledge, and  professional abilities necessary for the accomplishment of the ethical principles as manager, communicator, educator, promoter of reading and curator of the bibliographic and cultural patrimony, thus, he has the unavoidable  responsibility  facing the community to which he offers services, activity that must be sustained under  aesthetic  and philosophic principles
