Abstract

Introduction: This research addresses a problem in today's digital society from the perspective of educational guidance for families. It analyzes the challenge of how to guide families in the use of digital technology at home with preschool children in a way that fosters their cognitive development. As a practical contribution, a digital manual is presented, designed to guide families in the responsible, safe, and educational use of technology at home, specifically for preschool children. The document offers practical guidelines based on principles of positive parenting, child development, and digital citizenship, aiming to strengthen the role of adults as technology mediators. Through visual resources, interactive activities, and recommendations adapted to the family context, the manual seeks to promote healthy habits in the consumption of digital information to prevent risks associated with the inappropriate use of digital devices. Theoretical, empirical, and statistical methods facilitated the development of this study, leading to the conclusions regarding the pedagogical effectiveness of the proposed solution to the investigated problem.
