Interdisciplinary Projects and Their Influence on the Development of Creativity in the Tenth Year of Upper Basic Education

Introduction: This article analyzes the influence of interdisciplinary projects on the development of creativity in tenth-year upper elementary students, within the framework of an applied pedagogical approach. Materials and methods: The mixed-method research included teacher interviews, student surveys, and the review of three school projects, in addition to the design and implementation of an interdisciplinary project focused on creativity. Results: The results following the implementation of the proposal were highly favorable: an increase in active student participation, the generation of original ideas, and the use of innovative resources was observed. Discussion: 61% of students expressed enthusiasm for working on creative projects, and 64% indicated that they felt motivated by their teachers to develop their creativity. Conclusions: It is concluded that well-structured projects focused on real-life problems significantly enhance students' creative abilities. It is recommended to continue implementing these types of strategies, integrating active methodologies such as project-based learning.
