Shops socioeducativos for the attention to patient with tuberculosis from a center of health

The results of a study of exploratory reach related with the work socioeducativa are presented in the attention to patient with tuberculosis in the center of health 4 of the area 8, in Guayaquil, with a sample of 12 patients, 12 families and 3 specialists by means of the empiric theoretical and technical integration of methods in the investigation. The information was picked up starting from the application of instruments like survey and interviews of the center of health, what allowed to understand its perceptions and knowledge on this pathology and to propose shops socioeducativos to family. As a result of the study, it was demonstrated that the shops socioeducativos are essential to improve the adherence to the treatment and the reduction of new cases related with such an infectious illness as the tuberculosis. The study evidence that the tuberculosis is more than a medical problem; it is a social challenge that requires interventions integral socioeducativas based on the participation of the environment for their effective control.
