In the present work it is revealed that the educability of self-esteem is an inherent part of the socio-environmental training of adolescents with intellectual disabilities. The Solidarity Service Learning Methodology is used as an essential approach and that intentionally provides the individual and social recognition that occurs in a close relationship between the acquired curricular contents, which allow cooperating with the social knowledge and feedback that the society becomes in new knowledge by the intellectually disabled student. The conclusions show the effectiveness of the methodology applied in Special Education, given its socio-labor environmental impact.
