The Socio-educational work of the commander–President Hugo Chávez Frias: His transcendence as social educator

Abstract

This article is part of one of research lines developed by the chair of Comparative Education "Hector Ferran Toirac" at the University of Pedagogical Sciences "Frank Pais" in Santiago de Cuba, related to the study of socio-educative work of the missing Commander President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias at different levels of the Venezuelan educational system since the triumph of the Bolivarian Revolution, to be defined as social educator. The purpose of this article as part of the investigative efforts of the Chair is to present briefly, the results achieved in the research of the socio-educative work related to the Venezuelan higher education since his recognition as a social educator and their contributions to this level of education, which undoubtedly represented an educational novelty to Venezuela and throughout Latin America.
