Rubén Martínez Villena in the environment of work with the pioneers

Abstract

The inquiry on the work with the pioneers in the first decades of the neo-colonial republic in Cuba, wouldn’t be been able of been written without Rubén's Martínez Villena sight, mainly in those aspects referred to the work of the Communist Party and its role as promoter since the Union Trade Confederation in Cuba of activities in defence of the proletarian children's in narrow coordination with the League of Pioneers. The methods that were used in the investigation and techniques from the perspective of the historical inquiry, as the interviews to informants, key and the analysis of documents, accompanied by the corresponding valuations. Among the main results that are exposed in concrete terms the origin of Rubén's Martínez Villena ideas on the work with children from the League of Pioneers from Cuba, also the singularity of his educational thought is revealed and his idea is reaffirmed as social educator.
