Abstract

Introduction: Communicative competence is a fundamental aspect in the training of technological level students, as it allows them to function effectively in increasingly digital and globalized academic, work and social environments. The ability to communicate effectively not only involves mastery of written and spoken language, but also the appropriate use of technological tools and the understanding of different cultural contexts. The main objective of the study was to develop and evaluate a teaching strategy to enhance communicative competence in technological environments, both in the training of teachers and students. Materials and methods: The research is based on a mixed approach, which combines qualitative and quantitative elements, allowing a more complete and in-depth understanding of critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the students and teachers who are part of the research, as well as the evaluation of the effectiveness of the implemented teaching strategy. Results: The main results of the research showed that the implementation of the teaching strategy had a significant positive impact. A high percentage of students showed improvements in participation in online communication activities (70%) and in the effective use of digital communication tools (75%). Discussion: The practical applications of these results are broad, suggesting that educational institutions should seriously consider integrating digital tools to enhance the educational experience and better prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century. Conclusions: The research provides solid evidence on the effectiveness of digital teaching strategies to improve communicative competence in educational environments. The contributions are relevant to the field of education and the scientific community, demonstrating that the integration of digital technologies is not only possible, but also beneficial for the comprehensive development of students.
