Inteligência artificial generativa e autorregulação da aprendizagem no ensino superior equatoriano: rumo a uma metacognição aumentada

Resumo

Introdução: A inteligência artificial generativa tem sido incorporada progressivamente ao ensino superior, transformando as formas como os estudantes buscam informações, organizam tarefas, solucionam dúvidas e refletem sobre sua própria aprendizagem. Este artigo teve como objetivo analisar a relação entre o uso da inteligência artificial generativa e a autorregulação da aprendizagem em estudantes do ensino superior equatoriano, considerando suas contribuições, limitações e possibilidades para o desenvolvimento de uma metacognição aumentada. Materiales e metodos: A pesquisa foi desenvolvida a partir de uma abordagem quantitativa, com alcance descritivo-correlacional e desenho não experimental transversal. A amostra foi composta por 180 estudantes universitários equatorianos, aos quais foi aplicado um questionário do tipo Likert organizado em dimensões de uso acadêmico da IA, planejamento, monitoramento, retroalimentação, avaliação metacognitiva e risco de dependência tecnológica. Os resultados evidenciaram uma relação positiva entre o uso da IA generativa e as dimensões da autorregulação, especialmente na retroalimentação e melhoria, no monitoramento da compreensão e no planejamento da aprendizagem. No entanto, também foi identificado um risco médio de dependência tecnológica, associado ao uso acrítico de respostas automatizadas. Conclui-se que a IA generativa não substitui a autorregulação do estudante, mas pode ampliá-la quando utilizada com orientação docente, pensamento crítico e critérios éticos, favorecendo uma metacognição aumentada no ensino superior.
