Curricular and extra-curricular treatment of the food sovereignty plan, nutritional education and life task

Introduction: The achievement of Food Sovereignty is not possible if the new man is not trained in a true mentality of rational producers, who are capable of getting the most out of the soil in total harmony with the environment. The Agricultural Education discipline is characterized by its educational, instructive, productive, economic and socially useful nature, which allows young people in training to participate actively and creatively in the productive process. The components of labor, research and extension will be found in it, constituting an ideal way to form personality values. The purpose of this work is to guide, from the Agricultural Education Discipline in its relationship with the other disciplines of the Bachelor's Degree in Labor Education, the curricular and extracurricular treatment of the Food Sovereignty Plan, Nutritional Education and the Life Task. Materials and methods: In the research, the theoretical methods used were induction-deduction, analysis-synthesis and structural systemic. Results: The design of the actions that students must carry out as members of the University Brigades for Social Work was achieved as a result. Discussion: Based on the curricular treatment of the Food Sovereignty Plan, Nutritional Education and the Life Task in the Bachelor's Degree in Education. Labor Education, from the Agricultural Education discipline, it is intended to carry out curricular and extracurricular activities. Conclusions: With the objective of improving the quality of the teaching-learning process, implementing educational inclusion, participation and environmental sustainability, based on theoretical-methodological foundations that support an ecological and sustainable conception in agricultural and livestock production and creating an awareness of rational producers and consumers, as well as compliance with protection and hygiene standards and care for the environment in the teaching-learning process.
