Abstract

The objective of this work is to present the advantages and its use offered by the latest generation of educational mediators and specifically multimedia in the development of specific professional competences of the General Comprehensive Stomatology specialist. It is exemplified with the Multimedia "Odonto Clinic. Professional competences for the care of clinical conditions", which is an important didactic means that favored the teaching-learning process within the specialist training, and therefore contributed to the development of the aforementioned competences. This didactic means fostered a greater cognitive interest on the part of specialists in General Comprehensive Stomatology, benefiting the PEA from the motivation and understanding of the content, which affects the development of specific professional competences.
