Abstract

There are reasons to think that the figure of Fidel Castro must be studied carefully: his thought exposed in speeches, interviews, conversations, testimonies, resulted in texts, that contribute to the historical content urging a mandatory, necessary consultation for classes of History and promote political and ideological. The objective: To show a methodological proposal for the use of the ideas of Fidel Castro Ruz as a source of knowledge in the teaching of the History of Cuba for the construction of knowledge at the Universidad de Oriente. We understand that it is a material for teaching and in this especially radic to its methodological contribution. The method of analysis and synthesis was used, the bibliographic review, deductive, logical and historical inductive, as well as observation and modeling. We offer a teaching material with the methodological ways for the insertion of Fidel Castro's thought in the teaching of the History of Cuba.
