The use of didactic multimedia in the learning of karate do

Abstract

Today's world is characterized by an increasing influence of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in all spheres of social life. In this sense, the Cuban state is immersed in the computerization of society and sport is not exempt from this purpose. Specifically the teaching of Karate is an important way for the development of volitional qualities, habits, skills and values in its practitioners, so it is necessary to develop new ways for their learning. This growing need motivated the authors to develop the research presented, which aims to: develop educational software that allows learning the basic knowledge of Shotokan Karate Do in the category 11-12 years of the Sports Combined, Mario Maceo Quesada in the Palma Soriano municipality of Santiago de Cuba.
