Necessity and possibilities of the utilization of the work of José Martí in the course "Pioneering work in primary school"

Abstract

This paper offers considerations about the need and possibilities of the use of the work of José Martí in the subject "Pioneering work in primary school" that is taught in the degree course in primary education. The work demonstrates how it is possible to achieve the objectives of the subject through the insertion of Marti's work, in which there are possibilities in both teaching and extra-curricular activities, with emphasis on the formation of values and in work with the Movement of Pioneer Pathfinders as a fundamental form of patriotic preparation for defense in General Education.
