Abstract

The universalization of the pedagogical universities guarantees the formation of professionals in their own municipalities, thus sudvenues and micro universities are of great importance. Due to this transformation, it is necessary to think about meaningful actions to achieve a certain coherence in the methodological work to contribute to the formation of highly qualified professionals acting as responsible and competent citizens, having not only the interdisciplinary approach, but also the attaining of the four fundamental pillars of education in the XXI century, ¨learn to know, learn to be, learn to live together and learn to do¨. Our Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz has referred to what globalization means for educators and the need to prepare a generation capable of facing it consciously. Nowadays, the interest towards interdisciplinarity has to do with the growing development of society and with a social active participation. As it was well expressed by Dr. Esperanza Guelmes from the Pedagogical University Félix Varela, the combination between the knowledge of different sciences, specialties and disciplines is necessary to solve the problems of our societies and to foresee the negative effects of performances that contemplate the development of a speciality. Having into consideration these referents, this article aims at deepening in the scientific knowledge that supports the relation between the theory and the pedagogical practice towards interdisciplinarity.
