The influence of the University library in the users’ educative labor

Abstract

In the context of transformation of the present Cuban school the labor that must be developed by the librarian in teaching, constitutes a basic element in the teaching learning process. The educative orientation is present in all the services that are provided in the center of pedagogical information and documentation, directed to support the teaching learning process and user training. The objective of this paper is to reflect about the importance of the development of the educative labor in the documentation center and their importance for the development of necessary strategies for learning, the selection, picking up and recuperation of information.
