Abstract

The University has the challenge to train professionals with a general culture that allows not only successful if not a better quality of life performance. The professional development of teachers together with the need for a constant update appears inexorably attached to any proposal for improvement of education. To materialize the aspiration, and form a complete and competent professional capable of working in tune with the demands of their time, urgent realization of transformations in higher education, which help form a transdisciplinary scientific culture in its students and is based on knowledge that respond more to today's world. This implies the pedagogical, scientific and technological preparation of the teacher, only then is can meet the challenges of technological and scientific development and the society in general. Reflect on this theme is the purpose that animates this work.
