Abstract

Today university education has a social mission to train professionals capable of interpreting the relationship between scientific and technological progress taking place in the academic community and the reality of the processes of society. It is there, where they contribute to the production of goods and services, which meet the needs and expectations of the same. It poses the challenge to produce graduates with the necessary measures to dissimilar solutions to problems that arise in their profession skills. The article assesses the implications of agricultural faculties in this intention, to their rightful duty to develop a training conditioned by globalization, from the consideration of the social and solidarity, as space linking academia to society. From this perspective, the development of processing capacities and potential of the communities in which social projects that ensure agricultural productivity and agro promoted Ecuador agrees.
