The work with mathematical problems constitutes an objective of special interest in primary education. In referred activity l to comprehension it happens in an essential process, which is based essentially on the elaboration of inferences. Before exposed it allows deducing the necessity to give a suitable treatment to the elaboration of inferences. In the persistence to obtain that the students are subject assets in the learning, most of the time is due to dedicate to the education of strategies that allow the students to learn by him. It is for that reason that the objective of the work is to contextualize the use of reading strategies to the comprehension of mathematical problems.
