Práticas de ensino para promover a aprendizagem significativa: análise do papel ativo do aluno nos estudos sociais no ensino básico geral

Resumo

Introdução: Este estudo analisa estratégias pedagógicas para promover a aprendizagem significativa em Estudos Sociais na Educação Geral Básica (EGB), com foco no papel ativo do aluno. Com base em teorias como as de Ausubel (2000), identifica limitações dos métodos tradicionais e propõe uma estratégia lúdica baseada em jogos para melhorar a participação e a compreensão no quarto ano. Materiais e métodos: Utilizou-se um desenho metodológico misto (qualitativo-quantitativo) com observações de sala de aula, testes pedagógicos, entrevistas com professores e análise documental numa amostra de 16 alunos e 2 professores da Escola Cayambe (Equador). A intervenção incluiu três fases: diagnóstico, design de jogo educativo e validação. Resultados: Os resultados mostraram 97% de participação ativa e 98% de melhoria na compreensão conceptual pós-intervenção. As atividades lúdicas demonstraram ser eficazes na ligação do conteúdo curricular com a realidade do aluno. Discussão: A estratégia baseada em jogos superou as limitações dos métodos tradicionais, embora se tenha observado a necessidade de replicar o estudo noutros contextos e integrar ferramentas digitais. A validação por especialistas confirmou a sua inovação e aplicabilidade. Conclusão: A estratégia baseada em jogos é eficaz na promoção da agência estudantil e da aprendizagem significativa em Estudos Sociais, sendo recomendada a sua adaptação a outras áreas curriculares.
