Training strategy looking at the quality of the program from its implementation. Main results

Abstract

Introduction: Quality in Cuban higher education is defined as a structuring concept for the entire system. Therefore, an evaluation system has been established that extends to doctoral training programs. A requirement of the Faculty variable is to present a postdoctoral training strategy for the program's faculty that demonstrates their self-preparation, updating, and contextualization for the program's continuous improvement. To develop this work and achieve its objective, theoretical and empirical methods and techniques are used, both qualitatively and quantitatively, with an integrative approach. Results were validated through the program's external evaluation. The objective of this paper is to reveal how the implementation of a postdoctoral training strategy for the program's faculty, conceived as a tool for assessing the quality of the Doctoral Program in Legal Sciences at the Faculty of Law of the Universidad de Oriente, yields significant results that contribute to the accreditation of excellence and the continuous improvement of said doctoral program.
