The role of the family and its importance in the learning process in education

It is evident that between the family and the Educational Institutions there should exist and develop collaborative relationships between teachers, parents and community authors in which the responsibility to work together with the sole purpose of guiding, supporting the learning and development of students is shared. Therefore, the objective of this article was to determine the relationship that exists in the role of the family and the learning process of the students of Secondary Basic Education to diagnose the importance, raise awareness and encourage parents of the Educational Unit "Jama" to perform their role as parents. The present investigation was developed with the descriptive methodology, to fulfill the proposed objectives a qualitative approach was selected, applying the inductive-deductive method, to determine the importance of the role of the family in the learning processes of the students, with the veracity that exists in reality. To obtain the results of the study, students, teachers, parents and authorities were considered by means of a survey to gather information on the role of the family and its importance in the learning process in education. The results indicated that there is a problem in the learning process of students and that the role of the family plays an important role in solving this problem. All these results were statistically supported by the methods of abstraction, analysis, deduction, induction and synthesis to reveal the essential relations of the object of study.
