Abstract

Introduction: The field of action of Physical Education focuses on practice, but the conceptual or theoretical foundation of the practical content must be invigorated, something that is substantial if we want students to be aware of what they are doing and lead them to obtain high levels of learning in practice. Materials and methods: The qualitative field study revealed the various limitations that hinder the success in the use of ICT for the development of this process. Results: It confirmed the need for its generalization in the teaching-learning process to stimulate the theoretical knowledge of Physical Education in schoolchildren and the benefits it provides for the harmonious development of the organism and human health by achieving investigative independence, appropriating the knowledge when solving investigative learning tasks in a reflective way in the practical projection. Discussion: The subject of Physical Education is immersed in a complex system of transformations and is fighting for the search and insertion of new learning models, carried out by the current Cuban educational system considering that it must be in accordance with this process. Conclusions: The use of these means has a renewing and enduring sense in the theoretical-practical field, it leads to a truly useful and developing transformation in the process of the school's theoretical knowledge in Physical Education.
