Abstract

The formation of values, constitutes a priority in the pedagogical careers of the Natural Sciences area, however, difficulties persist in their formation, denoting behaviors and attitudes that do not correspond to the model of the professional who aspires to form; Therefore, the objective of this research is to show a methodological proposal for the formation of values in students of these careers, having as fundamental axis the Environmental Education, from the systematization of the study of the life and work of scientific and pedagogical personalities. For this, qualitative research was applied, with emphasis on case studies. As a result, it was possible to modify the modes of pedagogical professional action, evidenced in responsible behaviors and attitudes in the face of the need to deepen knowledge, research of natural sciences, their teaching and their connection with Environmental Education
