Abstract

The research presented was aimed at making a diagnosis on the current state of what are the main conceptions and ways that are taken into account to prepare the teacher in technical career training, at the University of the East for confronting interpersonal conflicts. For this, an analysis of this process was carried out based on a documentary sample, consisting of plans and programs of study, monographs, doctoral thesis defended and on the basis of conducting interviews with professors and researchers. The study carried out verified that there are theoretical inadequacies in the different plans and training programs of this professional related to the treatment of conflict in the school and professional context, deficiencies in socio-educational training linked to the educational and orientation function, as well as as in the methods and alternatives for the solution of interpersonal conflicts.
