Parental illiteracy and its influence on the quality of life of students at the San Isidro Educational Unit
Keywords:

The level of education in today's society is a benchmark for both economic and social status; someone with illiteracy tends to have a different situation than other people in their conglomerate. For this reason, we sought to establish the influence of parental illiteracy on the quality of life of students (who depend directly on them). In this regard, a work was carried out with a mixed methodology with a correlational approach, to establish the affectation derived from the non-development of reading-writing competence by the heads of household, using an analysis of variance between the children. of people with illiteracy and those who have literacy skills, where various aspects are analyzed using the HDI as a reference. As a result, it is found that there is an influence of illiteracy in aspects such as the level of family income, access to basic services, basic basket coverage. However, access to health did not show any level of significance; For this reason, it was possible to conclude that the quality of life does have an affectation on the quality of life of the students.
