Abstract

The University is a key to economic and social development agent, where the combination of scientific knowledge, humanism and the exercise of social criticism, enhance the capabilities of the same for the production of new knowledge, to promote innovation in technology and production, dissemination and validation, facilitating openness to the rest of society.  The  study aims: to reveal the social contradictions that take place in public
education in the province of Cunene and the role of the university since its extension activity to achieve such training.  A concrete plan of action is proposed to encourage the extension activity in intra-and extramural civic education in order to prioritize criteria justices and the preservation of their culture and identity.
