Abstract

Introduction: The subject of Psychopedagogy belongs to the training curricular area of the Pedagogy career and has a theoretical/attitudinal nature. Its purpose is to provide the scientific bases so that the future professional is able to positively integrate into the community, resolving individual or collective situations, making wise decisions, putting into practice the values cultivated at home and in the educational process. The philosophy of science or epistemology, with its different branches, opens the possibility of reflection, analysis and discussion of essential problems such as human emotions and their disorders inherent to the very structure of scientific knowledge present in said area, with its implications for theory and professional practice. Materials and methods: To carry out this epistemological approach to emotional disorders from the subject Psychopedagogy, the method for educational development such as the inductive-deductive method was used. The analytical-synthetic, differentiator-integrator, analysis-synthesis. The genetic deduction method is used to find new concepts based on previous ones. The heuristic is related to the discovery of knowledge and its creation in the cognitive constructs that are revealed in the process of research and pedagogy itself. Results: The results obtained are related to epistemological knowledge and the deepening of the relationship between psychology with society and the environment. Through it, the mind and behavior of man and everything that influences it is studied. Discussion: For this analysis, socialization workshops were held. The teachers consider that the epistemological approach to emotional disorders from the Psychopedagogy subject allows us to understand and reflect on the main existing psychosocial problems through awareness-raising. Conclusions: This entire analysis allowed us to understand the characteristics and importance of the epistemological approach to emotional disorders from the subject of Psychopedagogy. Delve into the curricular plan, its results and contents. It reveals the importance of continuing to enrich the subject plan itself and the preparation of teachers, work that enhances the quality of the teaching-learning process at the “Luis Vargas” Technical University of Esmeraldas.
