Information management and communication in Cuban interface companies: their social challenges

Abstract

Introduction: In the new Cuban interface companies there are contradictions that threaten the better management of information and communication that they develop in order to positively influence their audiences and there by attract more clients and science solutions. For these reasons, the objective of this work focuses on describing the challenges or social problems faced by information and communication management in interface companies from a critical perspective. Materials and methods: To develop this research, different methods and techniques were taken into account, such as analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, logical history, and bibliographic review. Bibliographic sources from Google Scholar and theses from foreign universities, and laws and decrees belonging to the Republic of Cuba, related to the business system, were reviewed. Results: These problems are referred to from their different aspects, and are exemplified through the specific analysis of needs and/or situations recently manifested in this area. Discussion: One of the current trends of companies internationally is the need to implement certified management systems, but the novelty exists because the key components of organizational management such as: the proper management of information and its processes have not been integrated. Communication. Conclusions: The way of managing information and communications in new science, innovation and technology transfer companies does not satisfy the real needs of the country, showing in the first instance violations of the legislation in this matter, especially in the use of social networks by natural persons and business organizations.
