Abstract

The present study originates around the existing problem around how to promote administrative-emotional leadership in educational units, having as its purpose or objective the approach of this problem to assess the behavior of emotional administrative leadership in educational units of the Manabí Province. Through the development of qualitative research through the use of observation, documentary analysis, survey and interview to obtain data referring to the perception that teachers and directors of Ecuadorian educational units have regarding the use of emotional administrative leadership in their institutions, yielding as a result the essential criteria that are manifested linked to the emotional attribution of this leadership, as well as the existing motivation around it and the implications that are generated in its application.
