Abstract

The study shown in this article aims to adapt the graphic design in the book "Enchanted Esmeraldas, legends for children", uniting the literary with the artistic, allowing the child reader to understand and introduce the world of fantasy that characterizes children's literature. Literature allows the development of the imaginative function of language. Due to the learning experiences related to enjoyment and recreation, it promotes creativity and the development of fantasy in the spontaneous production of imaginative texts. The research reveals the importance of the formation of autonomous readers and producers of recreational texts where the child has the opportunity to walk through the different literary genres, increase their cultural heritage, reaffirm their identity and discover other worlds that favor the process of learning. divergent thinking.
