Abstract

The present research work allowed us to know how the budget decrease impacted in the Lay University Eloy Alfaro de Manabí, from 2019-2020.This research aimed to compile the budgetary information of the institution for the period to be investigated, both in the Financial Area and Institutional Planning, such as the Strategic Plan for Institutional Development, the Annual Operating Plan, Accountability of the first semester of 2020, where the historical context and the economic impact will be exposed, the approach of the problem will be established. The methods used are descriptive, bibliographic comparative, and analytical, which allowed us to search and collect the necessary information from this research, in a precise and concrete way, based on the results obtained, tables, graphs and the analysis of the data, obtained through of the techniques applied to obtain the information, such as surveys and research of authors.
