The investigation was formulated the aim that was to determine the relation that exists between the migratory process and the loss of the cultural identity of the indigenous people Shipibo Conibo in the communities of the Lake Imiria, the design of investigation is a descriptive correlational; the materials that were in use it corresponds to the sample of 142 members of four indigenous communities two Shipibos and two Conibos, the instruments that they used were two questionnaires one for the migratory process and other different for the loss of cultural identity. The method has been used was descriptive. In relation between the migratory process and the loss of the identity, a void correlation of 0,027 exists and degree of significance is 0, 28, this indicates that the relation is not direct.
